Diane Yednak

Diane had been a dance teacher for over 45 years before retiring in 2021. She is a member of Dance Masters of Pennsylvania and has also served as their President and their treasurer. She currently is Dance Master's Vice President. She has taught at many local high schools, including Clairton, Thomas Jefferson, Elizabeth Forward and Baldwin High School. Her choreography has won her many accolades including nine Nominations from the Gene Kelly Awards for excellence in choreography in high school musicals. Diane currently serves as the Auxiliary coordinator for the Tournament of Bands where she is also an adjudicator and the Tournament Indoor Association where she serves as the dance team facilitator. Her students have won many awards at both local and National competitions. She considers her best achievement to be the many students who have gone on to dance professionally and become dance educators themselves.
